925 sterling silver Navajo made HIGH GEM GRADE ELECTRIC BLUE NATURAL FOX TURQUOISE Pendant Slide necklace with Heavy Long Sterling Silver Link Chain 24 weighing 6.2oz. The beautiful Fox Turquoise Pendant measures 2"L to top of bail x 1"W x. The focal pendant slide is set with a huge pear shaped high grade Fox Mine Turquoise cabochon with a honey matrix and other natural inclusions.
The sterling setting of the pendant alone measures 2 "L from top Bail to bottom of pendant and 1" Wide at the widest point by 1/4Deep. 25 diameter Bail can fit beaded necklaces, pearls, or chains. The turquoise stone measures 1 3/8"L x "L x 3/4"W x a little over 1/8"Deep.
NATURES DESIGNS IN THE STONE are INTENSELY BEAUTIFUL. PICTURES ARE PART OF THE DESCRIPTION. The back of the pendant is initialed by the native american artist as F.
Both pieces are in mint mint condition perfect for gift giving or your native american collection. The setting has a straight edge bezel holding the stone tightly in place. Fox Turquoise is no longer produced as the mine is closed and can be found in various shades of green and blue with both often occurring in the same stone. The higher grade material is quite hard like the stone in this pendant offered today. The mine is no longer in operation making this a very collectible extinct turquoise piece.
I have the necklace modeled with both the original 24" native american link chain and also pictured with a sterling silver 24" Italian beaded necklace. The Italian beaded necklace is also 24L and weighs.
